Mother ducker - an interactive space to revitalise NTU ADM’s SUNKEN PLAZA
The sunken plaza of NTU ADM was transformed into a playground. The addition of ducks and interactivity imbues new life and purpose to the underutilized and overlooked space. Visitors are welcomed to play in this space. There are a range of activities that they can do here:
They can chill with the ducks on the duck float, floating along the "lazy pool". This activity was further enhanced with technology where sliding across the stream of water will produce sounds and enable you to compose music.
They can enter the water body and "fish" the ducks.
There is also an Augmented reality app that can populate the space with more digital ducks.
Moving in the space will also activate duck sounds and they echo in the enveloping space.
